Reports: Leicester set to lose star man to Arsenal for £45m
After a standout season which saw him win the PFA Players' Player of the Year award and find the back of the net 17 times, Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez looks to be on the verge of joining Arsenal in a deal worth some £45m (via Eurosport). The 25-year-old Algerian international has predictably become a hot property on the transfer market this summer. Alongside striker Jamie Vardy (who has already rejected a move to Arsenal), Mahrez was one of the leading lights in Leicester’s stunning rise to the top of the Premier League.
