Arsenal announce squad for USA tour: One big player is missing
GETTY FLIGHT: Arsenal's squad flew this afternoon Granit Xhaka, the £33m signing from Borussia Monchengladbach, should make his first appearance in an Arsenal shirt. Xhaka is one of four players in the 23-man squad who was at Euro 2016. Jack Wilshere, Hector Bellerin and Petr Cech are the other three. Alexis Sanchez is nursing an ankle injury he sustained in the Copa America final victory over Argentina. “I left Gabriel behind today because he has tonsillitis and is infected” Arsene Wenger Frenchmen Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud, as well as Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey, have not travelled and may miss the season opener against Liverpool due to their summer exploits....
