Wenger sets new transfer priority for Arsenal, Xhaka team-mate targeted
According to reports from Mirror Football, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stepped up his search for defensive reinforcements following an injury to Per Mertesacker. The German centre-back picked up an injury in a pre-season friendly against Lens last Friday and could be out until December with serious damage to his knee ligament.
