Arsenal to make improved offer for star striker – reports

Arsenal are set to launch an improved offer for Alexander Lacazette after recently failing with a £30million bid, according to Sky Sports. The Gunners are in need of a centre forward this summer with Olivier Giroud the only recognised senior striker in the wake of Danny Welbeck's knee injury that will keep him sidelined for the remainder of 2016.  Lacazette has been strongly linked with the Gunners for some time, and despite Lyon insisting the forward is not for sale, Wenger appears to be determined to land his compatriot to supplement and compete with Giroud this season.  Sky Sports, generally a reputable source, report Arsenal will return with a larger offer to entice the...
