Arsenal loan Wojciech Szczesny to Roma for second season
Wojciech Szczesny will again go on loan to Roma with Petr Cech preferred at Arsenal. Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will spend a second season on loan at Italian side Roma, the London club have announced. Szczesny became the Serie A club's No. 1 keeper this past campaign, making 34 league appearances and helping Roma finish third in the league. He had been widely expected to return to the club for a second year after being left out of Arsenal's preseason squads while a deal was finalised.
