Arsene Wenger wants Arsenal defender signed for Liverpool game: Mustafi and Evans eyed

GETTY Arsenal reportedly want to sign either Evans (left) or Mustafi by Friday The Gunners boss is currently heading into the opening weekend of the Premier League without three of his most senior centre-backs.  And according to the Daily Mirror, Wenger wants to land a new defender by Friday in time for the clash with Liverpool at the Emirates. The report adds the Frenchman is targeting either Valencia's Shkodran Mustafi or West Brom’s Jonny Evans.  Mustafi, who is available for £25million, is expected to leave Valencia this summer, and the Spanish club have already begun searching for his replacement.
