Arsenal News: Huge midfielder deal, Gabriel injury latest, striker target demands transfer
Arsenal have set their sights on Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, according to reports in Italy. Newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim the Gunners have turned their attention to the Colombia international after missing out on Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez. The Gunners have a good working relationship with Real following the £42.5million deal for Mesut Ozil in 2013. However, Gazzetta say a deal for Rodriguez is not a foregone conclusion due to the north London club’s poor record in the transfer market this summer.
