Arsenal concern grows as influential duo yet to sign new long-term deals

Arsenal pair Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will start the new Premier League campaign without the assurance of having long-term deals in place. The pair have two years remaining on their respective deals, but given that initial talks began last September and with little progress being made, concern will naturally be growing. According to The Times, talks will now not resume until after the transfer window closes at the end of the month, as the situation continues to edge closer to a worrying end result for the Gunners.
