Defender Close To Joining Arsenal, According To The Times
The Times have today claimed that Arsenal are close to a breakthrough in their pursuit of Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi. The German has long been linked with a move to the Emirates and both clubs are working towards a £20 million deal (via The Times). He has been an Arsenal target for weeks but the injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista seemed to have increased the desire to get this transfer done. Shkodran Mustafi is a German World Cup winner who also represented his country at this summer’s European Championships in France.
