Arsene Wenger makes Arsenal transfer promise: I am ready to spend our money

Arsene Wenger has claimed money is not an issue for Arsenal when signing a centre-back Arsenal have been linked with a number of centre-backs following long-term injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel. Valencia's Shkodran Mustafi and Fenerbahce's Simon Kjaer have both been touted as potential replacements but any deal is yet to materialise. Reports from Spain have suggested Mustafi's move has stalled because Arsenal are not willing to meet Valencia's £30million asking price.
