Arsenal squad could soon become even more depleted as Arsene Wenger agrees to let go of one of his five senior forwards
Arsenal currently have five senior forwards in their squad. Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck and Joel Campbell make up Arsene Wenger's over-21 attacking quintet. Having five senior forwards might seem like enough, but Welbeck is injured for a long time and, in truth, only one of the remaining four – Giroud – is competent in the lead frontman role, with the others better suited playing in behind.
