Former Arsenal duo move to Turkish minnows collapses following wage demands

Emmanuel Adebayor and Mathieu Flamini’s transfer to the Turkish minnows Çaykur Rizespor has fallen through according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik. The daily Turkish sports paper stats that the deal fell through after Rizespor were unable to agree personal terms with the former Arsenal duo. The story was met with surprise in Turkey as Rizespor are by no means one of the Super Leagues big boys. The France international midfielder Flamini made 242 appearances 0ver two spells with Arsenal.
