Lucas Perez completes Arsenal medical ahead of £17m transfer: Announcement close
Perez has undergone his medical in London and is now just waiting for the sign off, according to the Daily Mirror. Perez flew to London yesterday after Arsenal agreed a £17m fee with Deportivo La Coruna. Arsene Wenger admitted the deal for Perez - and defender Shkodran Mustafi - was close this morning. Arsenal are set to pay £35m for Mustafi, but the Perez deal looks set to be the first one over the line. He was pulled from tonight’s action with a club statement saying: "The striker Lucas Perez will not fly to Seville, with permission of the club."
