Done deal: Arsenal confirm Lucas Perez signing as impressive stat shows Wenger haters could be silenced
Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna as Arsene Wenger could have addressed his attacking issues. The Spanish forward has joined in a deal worth £17.1m according to BBC Sport, and arrives off the back of scoring 17 goals in 37 games for his former club last season. Whether or not the 27-year-0ld is the man to score the goals and make the difference in the final third for the Gunners remains to be seen, but one statistic in particular suggests that Wenger has landed a player in top form.
