Crystal Palace eyeing move for former Arsenal man after missing out on Jack Wilshere

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is reportedly considering a move for free agent Mathieu Flamini after missing out on Jack Wilshere. The 55-year-old made an attempt to sign the England midfielder on loan on deadline day, but saw him choose a switch to Bournemouth instead. Now, The Guardian claim that he has switched his focus to Flamini, who is looking for a club after being released by Arsenal at the end of last season. Palace are in need of midfield reinforcements after seeing Mile Jedinak leave the club for Aston Villa earlier this month.
