Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger takes gamble with player’s contract: No return clause added
The Arsenal loanee penned a season-long loan deal with the Cherries on transfer deadline day. Roma, Crystal Palace and a number of other clubs across Europe showed interest in taking the England international. But Wilshere eventually opted to head down to the south coast and join Eddie Howe’s side, with Arsenal having reportedly blocked a move to Roma due to Bournemouth’s better financial package.
