Switzerland beat European Champions Portugal in the upset of the first round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Arsenal star Granit Xkaka started for Switzerland playing an important role in his side recording a memorable victory over the Portuguese. Xhaka is renowned for being a tough tackler and caused a social media storm following his challenge on former Manchester United winger Luis Nani.
