Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger takes charge with stroppy Gunners star: This must be accepted
Arsene Wenger has apparently held talks with the Chilean over the summer about his role in the team. The 27-year-old has featured primarily as a winger for Arsenal so far in his Emirates career. But according to the Mirror, the forward is set to be deployed as a striker more often going ahead. Sanchez was selected down the middle against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night in the 1-1 draw. And the decision was somewhat justified after he bagged an equaliser, although switching roles is not the only sacrifice Sanchez must make. Wenger also wants him to manage his energy levels more efficiently after the attacker suffered injury problems last term. GETTY
