Arsene Wenger: Why Lucas Perez has not featured much at Arsenal yet
Perez joined the Gunners from Deportivo La Coruna for £17million on the final days of the summer transfer window. The Spanish striker started against Southampton but has since had to make do with a place on the bench against both Paris Saint-Germain and Hull. And Wenger has admitted the 28-year-old is taking a little while to adjust to the intensity of English football. But the Frenchman believes Perez, who is expected to feature against Nottingham Forest tonight, has what it takes to succeed at Arsenal. “When you see the games, you can see the intensity is total and it takes you a little while sometimes to adjust to that,” Wenger told Arsenal...
