The FA are keen to appoint Arsene Wenger as England’s new manager when his contract expires at the end of the season, but Gunners hero Robert Pires believes the position would not be the right one for his old coach. The Frenchman recently celebrated 20 years in charge of the north London club and is widely hailed as one of the elite managers in world football after a glittering spell at Highbury and the Emirates Stadium.
