Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil records first assist of the season
Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has recorded his first assist of the season during Germany's win over the Czech Republic earlier this evening. The 27-year-old played the full 90 minutes during Germany's 3-0 victory which leaves them top of Group C with six points after two games. Ozil set up Thomas Muller's opening goal in the 13th minute. Up until tonight, Ozil had been unable to register a single assist for club or country. This may come as a shock to Arsenal fans seeing that the former Real Madrid playmaker racked up a total of 19 assists last season for the Gunners.
