Arsenal & Liverpool playing catch-up in transfer hunt for Football League attacker

The Sun report that Tottenham are leading the race to sign the 17-year-old attacking player Leo Da Silva Lopes from Peterborough United with three other clubs also interested in his signature. According to the report, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Southampton all sent scouts to watch the youngster as he helped his side beat Bury 3-1 in League One on Saturday afternoon. Born in Portugal, Da Silva Lopes is one of the most highly-rated players outside of the Premier League at the moment and Peterborough are reportedly resigned to losing the teenager in the relatively near future.
