(Photo) Carl Jenkinson returns to Arsenal U23s in first game since January
Arsenal full-back Carl Jenkinson has had to watch from the sidelines since suffering a serious knee injury back in January. Jenkinson has made a recovery and returned to action today in the Arsenal U23 clash against Southampton U23s in the reserve league. Just over an hour of action on his return – but now it's time for Chiori Johnson Great to see you back out there, @carljenkinson ? pic.twitter.com/OBkVSZ6BR8 — Arsenal FC (@Arsenal) October 14, 2016 The 24-year-old right-back has still has some way to go on his journey back to first-team football but he did get to start in the Southampton U23 clash which ended in a goalless draw.
