Wenger Confirms Star Man Wants To Stay At Arsenal
Arsene Wenger says Mesut Ozil wants to stay at Arsenal but has hinted that the club will have to spend big to keep hold of the Germany international. Ozil’s current deal expires in 2018 and he has yet to agree a new deal with the club with recent reports claiming he wants £250,000-a-week to remain in north London. Wenger says he is confident the 28-year-old does not want to leave but admits the club must also prove to the player they are capable of winning silverware. “I don’t think he needs convincing.
