Arsenal striker set for January exit after going without single appearance so far this season

Yaya Sanogo’s time at Arsenal is reportedly coming under threat with claims that he will move to Saint Etienne in January. The 23-year-old has been unable to make an impression on Arsene Wenger so far this season, having failed to secure a loan move away from the Emirates prior to the summer transfer window deadline. According to Calciomercato, he could be offered a way out and an opportunity of regular playing time with Saint Etienne keen to take him back to France. It isn’t made clear in the report as to whether it would be a loan move or a permanent switch, but given his inability to make a breakthrough at Arsenal, he will arguably welcome either chance.
