[Team News] Sunderland v Arsenal – Late Fitness Tests For Three Gunners Players
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that there will be late fitness tests for Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott and Nacho Monreal ahead of the trip to Sunderland. The Boss also confirmed that Lucas Perez will miss 6-8 weeks but that Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud will return to the squad (via Arsenal.com). Arsenal travel to Sunderland for the early kickoff tomorrow but they may have to do it without a host of first-team players. Arsene Wenger confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the Gunners could be without as many as four players for the fixture and will need late fitness tests to find out for sure.
