Olivier Giroud scored twice for Arsenal after coming off the bench
Arsenal's first chance of the afternoon came when Sanchez found Mesut Ozil on the top right-hand side of the penalty area, but the German's strike was easily saved by Jordan Pickford. However, the Gunners were ahead soon after when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain produced a fine cross for Sanchez, who got in front of Lamine Kone and headed home. Arsene Wenger's side could have added another before the break when Ozil was set free, but his lob was saved by Pickford. GETTY
