Giroud: If I Could Do That Every Week I’d Be Superman

Olivier Giroud has sought to play down expectations after he scored twice in Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. The France international came off the bench with the score still at 1-1 after Jermain Defoe had equalised Alexis Sanchez’s opener, and grabbed a double. Giroud scored with his first two touches of the ball, as he returned from injury in style, and admitted he was delighted to be back in the team and amongst the goals. “At the end we made it look easy but it was totally the reverse,' Giroud said according to The Mirror.
