Per Mertesacker returns to full training with Arsenal

Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker was back in full training on Friday for the first time this season after recovering from knee surgery. Mertesacker was pictured taking part in the Gunners' final training session ahead of Saturday's FA Cup game at Southampton, although he is not expected to be in the squad for the match. The German centre-back injured his knee in preseason and has yet to make an appearance since taking over the captaincy in August....
