Arsenal dealt blow in search for Wenger successor amid speculation of swoop

Juventus director Beppe Marotta has insisted that coach Massimiliano Allegri is happy at the club and has no plans to leave Turin. Speculation on Sunday, as noted by The Sun, suggested that the Italian tactician had emerged as the top choice for the Gunners as they consider successors for Arsene Wenger. The Frenchman sees his current deal with the Premier League giants expire at the end of the season, and with no suggestion that a renewal is imminent, it has led to suggestions that he could step down this summer. Allegri certainly fits the bill for Arsenal given his track record, but Marotta moved to dismiss the rumours and insisted that the Juve boss is content with his current job....
