Twitter goes crazy for Wayne Shaw after the Sutton United reserve goalkeeper was spotted tucking into a pie mid-match
Twitter went crazy last night after Sutton United goalkeeper Wayne Shaw was spotted eating a pie during the second-half. Sutton had already used all three of their substitutes, and thus Shaw knew he was not going to be needed. He took full advantage of the fact he was having a night off and went straight inside to buy himself a pie. Shaw, who is, incredibly, 45-years-old, does not look like your archetypal footballer. He is, however, both Sutton's goalkeeper coach and their back-up option between the sticks.
