Man United News: Ibrahimovic Arsenal admission, striker message, £50m summer rivalry fear
Arsenal legend Martin Keown has reflected on how his former club failed to land Zlatan Ibrahimovic, admitting he rues what happened 17 years ago. Manchester United's hitman was invited to the north London club, but the Gunners missed their opportunity. "I regret that Zlatan Ibrahimovic never joined Arsenal," Keown wrote in his Daily Mail column. "He visited the club in 2000 as a teenager and such was his physique and frame my team-mates joked that the Swede was coming to take my place at centre back. "Even then you could see Ibrahimovic had such a big presence. Ibrahimovic turned down a trial at Arsenal, saying he did not do auditions." GETTY
