Chelsea and Arsenal battle it out over key Man Utd ace in shock transfer swoop
Chelsea and Arsenal are both reportedly keen on signing Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard, with his contract expiring next summer. The 24-year-old hasn't always been a regular under Jose Mourinho this season, but has still managed to score four goals and provide three assists in 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring key goals in the EFL Cup final and Community Shield. However, that doesn't seem to have been enough to force United to speed up contract talks, as reported by The Sun, with the England international still waiting on a new deal despite having 15 months remaining on his current agreement.
