Star Turns Down New Arsenal Offer Wants £300,000-Per-Week To Stay

Mesut Ozil is demanding a new deal worth £300,000-per-week to stay at Arsenal and has refused an extension worth £250,000-per-week, according to the Daily Mail. The Germany international has just over a year left on his current deal and currently earns £140,000-per-week but has been offered a huge increase which he feels is unacceptable. Instead, the 28-year-old has informed the Gunners he deserves closer to £300,000-per-week, with talks not due to resume until the end of the season.
