Arsenal outcast Wojciech Szczesny close to Juventus transfer to replace Gianluigi Buffon

GETTY Wojciech Szczesny is close to agreeing a move to Juventus Wojciech Szczesny has fallen out of favour at Arsenal, being loaned to Roma for the past two seasons. And according to The Sun, the Poland international is close to severing ties with the club permanently in a deal with Juventus. The report says the 27-year-old will sign a deal with the Serie A Champions, seeing him replace Gianluigi Buffon next summer following his retirement. And in the meantime, Szczesny will return to the Gunners for the 2017/18 campaign, running down the remaining year on his contract.
