Arsenal News: Roma chief offers huge transfer update on Juventus target Wojciech Szczesny

GETTY Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny wants Roma stay Szczesny moved to Roma on loan in 2015 and re-signed for another year after a successful first campaign in Italy. The Poland international was key as Roma finished second in Serie A this season, keeping more clean sheets (14) than any other goalkeeper in the league. He has since been linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus as the long-term successor to Gianluigi Buffon, who is expected to leave Juve next summer. Napoli, who could lose No 1 keeper Pepe Reina this summer, have also shown an interest in signing Szczesny. But Roma chief Palotta is confident 27-year-old wants to remain at the Stadio Olimpico.
