Liverpool join transfer battle for £100m teenager, Klopp contacts agent
The race to sign Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe continues to heat up as reports claim that Liverpool have joined the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid in the battle. The 18-year-old had a season to remember last year, scoring 26 goals and providing 14 assists as he helped Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and the semi-finals of the Champions League. However, that form alerted all the top clubs from around Europe, and it seems Liverpool are now ready to make their bid too as The Daily Mail report that Jurgen Klopp has made contact with the Frenchman's agent with Mbappe expected to fetch over £100m this summer.
