Juventus hero Gianluigi Buffon appears to confirm transfer of Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczesny
The Arsenal goalkeeper has been widely tipped to leave the Gunners this summer after falling down the pecking order under Arsene Wenger. Szczesny has spent the past two seasons on loan at Roma establishing himself as one of Serie A’s top goalkeepers. His impressive displays have seen him linked with a switch to Juventus with talks between the Gunners and Juve said to be at an advanced stage. However, Buffon, who has been Juve’s No1 for over 15 years, has suggested Szczesny will be playing with him next term and has welcomed his arrival. GETTY
