Arsenal deep in talks to sign £49m+ prolific striker in club-record move
Arsenal have reportedly held further talks with Lyon over the signing of Alexandre Lacazette, in a deal worth £49m plus additional payments. The 26-year-old has been one of the top performers in Ligue 1 in recent seasons, scoring 20+ league goals over the last three years with last season his most prolific yet with 37 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions. With Lyon unable to build a team around him to bring success to the club, it's arguably time for him to move on, and according to The Telegraph, Arsenal continue to push forward with trying to get a deal done.
