Olivier Giroud to leave Arsenal: Lyon confirm talks with Alexandre Lacazette replacement
The Arsenal striker has been heavily linked with the exit door at the Emirates as Arsene Wenger looks to bring in a marquee striker. Wenger was apparently determined to sign Monaco star Kylian Mbappe, but the Ligue 1 champions want a world-record £130million for him. This has seen the Frenchman turn his attentions to Alexandre Lacazette, who he tried to sign last summer. It is said Giroud could be used as a makeweight to get a deal over the line for Lacazette and Express Sport understands he will leave if his international team-mate joins.
