Arsenal looking to hijack Man United's move for former Champions League winner
Arsenal will go toe-to-toe with Premier League rivals Manchester United for Barcelona's Dani Alves in the summer, that is according to reports in the Daily Star. According to the Brazlian full-back's agent, Alves has yet to be offered a new deal by the Catalan giants and, with his current contract expiring at the end of the season, Alves will be a free agent this summer – the 31-year-old can sign a pre-contract deal with either Arsenal or Man United now.
