Alexandre Lacazette: Arsenal still in talks with Lyon over move despite bid being rejected
Lacazette, 26, has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates this summer as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his ranks ahead of next season. Wenger is determined to sign Monaco star Kylian Mbappe, but has apparently been told he must pay a world-record fee of £130million for him. Lacazette is viewed as a cheaper alternative to Mbappe and Wenger has earmarked him as a possible target. Wenger is a long-term admirer of the Lyon star and tried to bring him to north London last summer, but failed to reach an agreement with his representatives.
