Lacazette a good signing for Arsenal because they can't sign Griezmann or Morata - Nicol
Lacazette completed his medical at Arsenal yesterday and is set to sign a five-year deal at the Emirates. The Frenchman will be the club's most expensive buy, with the fee rising to a potential £52million. The Gunners finished last season in fifth, not qualifying for Europe's elite club competition for the first time in 20 years. Nicol believes Lacazette is a good signing but not quite up to the standard of other strikers who have been linked with moves this summer. "Arsenal are not in the Champions League so somebody like (Antoine) Griezmann for example, or a (Alvaro) Morata, are they really going to be interested in going to Arsenal?
