Premier League season to begin on a Friday night for first time

Arsenal and Leicester City will kick off the 2017-18 Premier League campaign in a televised Friday night clash in a first for the English top flight. Sky Sports and BT Sport will again share coverage of the competition as part of a record-breaking TV package, starting with the Foxes' trip to North London on August 11. The division's top-six sides will all feature on Sky Sports in the opening fortnight of the campaign, while all 20 teams will have at least one match broadcast by the end of September.
