Arsenal in contact with Sampdoria over Jack Wilshere transfer: Gunners want £8.9m - report
Wilshere, 25, has just 12 months remaining on his Arsenal contract and has been linked with a summer transfer. He spent last season on loan at Bournemouth in a bid to secure regular game time after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates. The England international made 29 Premier League appearances for the Cherries, but his progress was scuppered by a broken leg he suffered in April. Wilshere has since returned to Arsenal, but his future at the club remains unclear.
