Karim Benzema to Arsenal: Arsene Wenger was in talks with Real Madrid over transfer deal
Arsenal are set to overhaul their squad this summer after failing to finish in the top four last season. Arsene Wenger has already tied up a deal for Alexandre Lacazette, with the France international arriving from Lyon for a fee of £53million. Lacazette's Arsenal career got off to a flyer yesterday when he scored in their 2-0 pre-season friendly win over Sydney FC. However, despite signing one striker, Wenger seemingly wants more. Reports have claimed he remains desperate to lure Monaco's Kylian Mbappe to the Emirates, and is willing to pay £123million to get the deal done.
