Thomas Lemar is edging closer to joining Arsenal in a £45m deal
Arsenal have been locked in talks with Monaco over the transfer of Lemar with the French club desperate to keep hold of their star man. Monaco originally valued Lemar at £80m and had hoped that fee would put the Gunners off. But Arsene Wenger has been determined to push a deal through and Lemar's desire to move to north London has left Monaco no choice but to sell. And according to The Sun, there has now been a breakthrough in negotiations that will see Lemar join in a £45m deal. MORE TO FOLLOW.
