Thomas Lemar: Arsenal on brink of £45m signing, he wants deal sorted today
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Lemar this summer after his stunning campaign to help Monaco to the Ligue 1 title last season. The France international bagged 14 goals and provided 17 assists across all competitions, also helping his side reach the Champions League semi-finals. Arsenal are said to have already had two bids turned down for Lemar, with Monaco reportedly slapping an £80million price tag on the 21-year-old to deter the Gunners' interest. But according to The Sun, Arsenal have made a breakthrough in negotiations with Monaco and are now closing in on a £45m deal. GETTY
