Alexis Sanchez claims he is sick two days before returning to Arsenal training
GETTY Alexis Sanchez has refused to sign a new contract at Arsenal And Wenger is set to continue with his experiment of playing Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny as makeshift defender. “I’ve been playing Elneny in a back three and he has coped very well,” he said. “He’s a player with a fantastic mentality and attitude. “When he plays there, of course he does extremely well.” Out-of-favour striker Lucas Perez has played his last game for the club with the Spaniard’s agent revealing former club Deportivo La Coruna have tabled a £9m bid. Perez, who joined for £17m last summer, made just two league starts and wants to return home.
