Everton to battle Arsenal and Barcelona for Jean Seri if Gylfi Sigurdsson transfer fails
Seri has been heavily linked with a move away from Nice this summer, with a number of Europe’s top clubs said to be interested in the Ivory Coast international. The 26-year-old bagged seven goals and provided nine assists in 34 Ligue 1 appearances last term as Nice finished third in the table. And now The Guardian claim Everton have set their sights on Seri as they continue to struggle in negotiations for Swansea playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson. Everton are said to have had two bids turned down for the 28-year-old - worth £40m and £45m - as Swansea hold out for £50m for their star man. GETTY
